Kathryn Finlayson

Kathryn is a lawyer in the Commercial Advisory and Dispute Resolution group at Minter Ellison Lawyers. She specialises in competition and regulatory law and large scale commercial litigation and dispute resolution. She also has experience in corporate advisory and both front and back end intellectual property. Kathryn is currently completing a Masters of Laws at the University of Melbourne.

Jodi works at Clayton Utz Lawyers in the Banking and Financial Services group. She holds a Bachelor of Laws (Hons) and Bachelor of International Relations (International Political Economy) from Griffith University, and a Masters of Law with Merit (Government and Commercial Law) from Australian National University. Jodi was previously the Associate to President McMurdo, Queensland Court of Appeal, and is a regular volunteer at the Caxton Legal Centre.

Rebecca is a lawyer with Carne Reidy Herd Lawyers. She completed a Bachelor of Laws with Honours and a Post Graduate Certificate in Law in the United Kingdom and has also undertaken further legal study at Bond University, including a Post Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice. Rebecca's primary area of legal practice is Elder law, particularly that which relates to Aged Care facilities, Retirement Villages, Guardianship matters and Life Planning. She is also a current member of the Young Lawyers Section of the Queensland Law Society.

Kateena is a barrister who practices in commercial and criminal law. After studying at Oxford and before returning to Brisbane, Kateena was a Lecturer in Company Law at Queen Mary, University of London, and a member of the Research Panel at Matrix Chambers, London.

Olivia Perkiss is a barrister who practices at both the Brisbane and the Gold Coast bar. Her main area of practice is in civil litigation, which includes insurance, employment, family and commercial litigation. Prior to being called to the bar in 2008, Olivia worked as a Senior Associate for a major Queensland law firm and has practiced in both Sydney and Brisbane. Olivia is the Immediate Past President of the Women Lawyers Association Queensland, Director of Australian Women Lawyers, President of Women in Insurance Queensland and a member of The Institute, AILA and an associate member of the QLS. Olivia holds a Bachelor of Laws, Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting), Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice and a Master of Laws. Olivia is also currently lecturing part-time for the College of Law in their online Professional Program.

Lucy is an Industrial Officer with the Australian Manufacturing Workers' Union. She previously worked as a solicitor practicing primarily in employment law and litigation and criminal defence. Lucy holds Bachelor Degrees in Law and Arts (Political Science) and a Graduate Diploma in Legal Studies and is currently studying to complete her Masters Degree in Labour Relations Law at the University of Melbourne. Lucy volunteers regularly at Caxton Legal Centre, and is also a member of the Queensland Law Society's Access to Justice Section and Young Lawyers Section.
